Hi friends!  I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I purchased my home… And what a year it has been. I know I said I would do this blog post months ago, but here it is on my first house-iversary! Buying my house was the adultiest-adult thing I’ve done thus far. It was such a big, yet AMAZING decision. Sometimes I walk through my door and say to myself, “Wow, this is really MY house.” My house hunting process was fairly easy. I knew that I wanted a townhome with a garage, in a location that was less than 20 minutes from my job in a gated community. I also didn’t want to have to cut grass or keep up the exterior. Pre-COVID-19, I travelled A LOT so that would just be too much to worry about. Another biggie was the design. I didn’t want a house that looked like a bowling alley. Hey fam! It’s been far too long! I’ve had soooo much going on between work, travel, grad school, and trying to have some sort of a social life… Oh, and I bought a whole house in August! Very adult of me, I know. Lol! BUT I’m back! I have a little bit of free time before I start traveling again this spring, so I wanted to catch you all up on my life. I have about TEN blog posts that I need to write, edit, and publish so I’ll be cranking them out as fast as I can. The first on my list is my 2 nd Annual Galentine’s Day Celebration! While Valentine’s Day is a holiday when everyone shows affection for their loved ones, Galentine’s Day is a celebration of love strictly for my girlfriends. It’s a reason for my friends and I to get dressed up (or down), have some drinks, and eat lots of chocolate. I LOVE decorating and hosting parties.
