San Diego on a Budget

Happy Sunday Funday!  Last weekend, I had some free time to get out and explore San Diego... And I even had a buddy! My niece, Sameera goes to school in LA so she drove two hours south to meet me. We had an amazing time and hardly spent ANY money. Everything we did was free. We literally just paid for food. What more can you ask for? San Diego is a beautiful city. It’s beachy, breezy, easy going, and the traffic is pretty much nonexistent. It reminds me of Tampa... But the west coast version. We had no idea what we wanted to do so I literally just opened Google Maps and picked points on the map that seemed interesting all the way down the coast. Our first stop was the Torrey Pines Gliderport in La Jolla. It’s the most historic aviation site in North America, with nearly 100 years of flying history. A Quick Trip to Salt Lake City

Hello sunshines! I’m back with an update on my most recent adventures. I’m currently halfway into a six-week long business trip. Yes, you read that correctly. SIX WEEKS. I’ve traveled to Delaware, New Jersey, Utah, and California so far. Sounds crazy, I know. But, as you know I love to travel so I’m having a blast. I’m one of those weirdos who thinks staying in hotels is fun.   As I mentioned in my last blog post , I’m an Admissions Counselor at UT so I travel to different high schools and college fairs to recruit prospective students in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii. In between school visits, events, answering emails, returning phone calls, and submitting expense reports, I’m trying my best to squeeze in some exploring. I have a pretty cool territory… All absolutely beautiful places. I’ve been to a few of them before, but some will be new adventures!  Delaware and New Jersey are nothing spectacular.
