Brunchin' in Baltimore

Image
Sunday brunch is one of my favorite meals. Some weekends, it’s the only time that my friends and I can all set aside to get together. With busy jobs, school, kids, and life in general, it can be a little hectic. Brunch is the perfect way to start off the week and catch up with friends, while still giving everyone the opportunity to grab something to eat after church or sleep in and refuel after a Saturday night out. I know, that seems ridiculous… But we didn’t really have anything else to do, Sameera wasn’t there yet, and we were there to sight see any way. Sameera and I have been to the harbor...

You all know that I love to travel and don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the basic touristy things… BUT one of my favorite things about traveling is actually being immersed in the culture. In my very first blog post, I mentioned that I have numerous really good friends who live in the Bahamas… They're the perfect tour guides. Nassau is honestly one of my favorite places to visit. My friends call me an honorary Bahamian. LOL. Here’s a throwback post to my last four trips to the Bahamas. Summer 2014: View from the plane// I always pick the window seat when flying to the Bahamas. The views are spectacular! A conch snack fried dry from Bamboo Shack// My fave! I have about 3 every time I go!  View of the pool at Albany Resort  Eboni and I having a drink at Drifters at Da Fry before a night out Crab and dough// Very different from the taste of Maryland crabs! Eboni and I in front of the ship dock Johnathan and I at Atlantis  ...
